The March You Beauty Box is definitely one that has got me excited. For only £6.95 each month this beauty subscription box is one of the more affordable options in the world of beauty boxes. I’m a pretty new subscriber and this is only my second box with the company although I did purchase a limited edition box last year, so far I have been impressed and both boxes have included products that I will use. Nowadays you often get so many repeat products and sample sizes in beauty boxes that they can become dull and boring but this one definitely doesn’t fall into that category. For those of you who are new to You Beauty and their subscription boxes, it is a service that you pay for each month and then get to choose two products from a list and then get a few further surprise products added into the box. I love the element of surprise but also the fact that I know I am going to get at least two products I will want to try. The options go live on the first of every month and often the more “hyped” products will fly off of the virtual shelves quickly.
This months box theme is focused on The Best of British featuring home-grown brands that are both well established in our beauty bags and also those new and emerging brands we have grown to love or seen all over the internet in recent months.
Firstly I chose the COLAB Sheer & Invisible Floral Fragrance Dry Shampoo in a handy 50ml sized bottle. As soon as I was emailed the options at the end of last month I knew I was going to chose this as I had been longing to try it for some time but was scared to move away from my trusty Batiste. I will report back on how this one compares and if I go onto buy the full size.
My second choice was The Body Shop British Rose Instant Glow Body Butter (50ml). I was a bit late at choosing this month and had been trying to decide between the Nanshy 4 in 1 Make-up Blending Sponge or this but my mind was made up for me when the sponge was already sold out after only a couple of days. I always love The Body Shop products and I’m sure this one won’t disappoint. I can already tell you this Body Butter smells gorgeous and I am hoping it will help give my dull and dry skin the glow its been lacking through the winter months.
Finally the products that every subscriber received in their box were the Charles Worthington Moisture Seal Hair Healer (50ml) and Ooharr Rosie Glow and Dead Sea Cooler Deep Cleansing Face Mask Duo (15ml each). I have previously used hair products from Charles Worthington so have high hopes for this to give my hair a bit of a pick me up. Ooharr are a brand that I have only recently heard of but haven’t tried anything from them yet. I love the fun and bright colours of their packaging and after a slightly alcohol and junk food filled weekend my skin is in major need of a deep cleanse.
Price of the box is £6.95 including P&P. This months box is still available to buy but choices may be limited. You can subscribe to this box by visiting https://www.you.co.uk/
