I haven’t done one of these posts in a few weeks but I’ve been saving this particular product for sunnier weather. I recently placed my first ever Space NK order as I needed to pick up some more Hourglass ambient lighting powders and at the checkout there was a choice of some samples to accompany your order. I was allowed to pick three which I thought was great and perfect for this feature on my blog. The sample I am going to be talking about today is a sachet of Laura Mericer Foundation Primer – Radiance Bronze.
I chose to pick up the Laura Mericer Foundation Primer – Radiance Bronze sample as I am always looking for products that give me a natural looking glow. This is something I struggle with achieving as my very fair skin doesn’t tend to tan but instead burn and turn a really nice shade of pink. From the description on the Space NK website this product seems great as it pro-longs the time foundation stays on your face as you’d expect but also helps to make you appear as if you have a “sunlit radiant glow”. I was also happy the product contains Jojoba Oil and Vitamins A, C and E meaning it may also be quite moisturising and also it states its perfect for all skin types.
Now on to my trial of the product…

Firstly to perhaps help you understand how this product has worked on my skin, my skin generally is quite pale, blemish prone with quite a few red blotches. I also suffer with dark circles under my eyes and find it extremely different to cover them completely. I first applied my moisturiser as usual then the sample of Laura Mericer Foundation Primer all over and then applied my make-up as usual. The primer sunk into the skin quickly and felt very comfortable, not sticky at all like some do. It created a great base allowing the products following it to be applied smoothly. I tried this product out yesterday so it was a relatively hot day and my make up still appeared to be in tact at the end of the day. Overall I really like the subtle glow the primer gave me and the bronzing properties of it were great as sometimes less subtle products make me feel concious that my face is glittery. I’m considering purchasing the full size but luckily have two more uses from the sachet and then I can make up my mind for sure.
