Its been so hot here in the UK recently, in fact as I’m sitting here writing this I am slowly melting. There’s definitely been some products helping me get through this hot spell without looking too much like a shiny mess and others that I’m just really enjoying using now its summer.
1. Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Light
This was released within the last couple of months and until I started using this I hadn’t realised just how dark the original Hoola was against my skin. I’d really recommend getting this bronzer if you are one of us pale girls, its subtle yet does give you enough colour to make a difference. My Hoola Light is part of the Cheek Parade palette which I’d also highly recommend if you can get your hands on it as each powder is full size so it’s great value for money.
2. Lee Stafford Coco Loco Dry Shampoo
The Coco Loco range of products smell absolutely divine, I’ve only personally tried the dry shampoo but will definitely be picking up the hair mask soon. It leaves your hair smelling of Coconut for the whole day and unlike other dry shampoos doesn’t leave a white powdery residue in your hair. I’m definitely converted to using this over Batiste due to how fresh and clean it makes my hair feel.
3. Gerard Cosmetics Slay All Day Setting Spray
I got this for my birthday, it’s the first thing I’ve tried by Gerard Cosmetics but I’m really impressed with the quality of the product. This setting spray really does live up to its name and I’d say it is on the same level or maybe slightly better than the Urban Decay range. I’ve got the Coconut scented one and it smells nice but I’m not sure its Coconut, it reminds me of a certain sweet but I can’t put my finger on which one.
4. Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Skinscent
I’m so glad I’ve finally got my hands on this perfume, it comes out every summer as a limited edition and I never get round to buying it even though I love the scent. My mum and dad kindly treated me to it for my birthday and I’m definitely having to stop myself using it every day, its like a holiday in a bottle.
5. Benefit POREfessional: Matte Rescue
This primer has been a life saver throughout the hot weather we’ve had recently. I find putting this on and around my nose really helps stop the extra oil I usually seem to produce in these areas in the hotter weather. I’ve only got a sample size but will be picking up the full size for sure.
I’d love to know if there’s any products you’ve been using lately that you’ve been really enjoying, leave me a comment below and let me know.
Definitely love that pore stuff from benefit. Loved this entry. I just found your blog today and I’m definitely following to keep up with the rest of your content. Looking forward to your future posts! I would love it you could stop by HaiPanda.org sometime!
